  2. I don’t think anyone said it’s an easy race to win, if they think it is I agree with what you said. Keeping a bike together for 57 laps is a big enough feat let alone winning.

    I wanna know every piece of safety gear that Debise wears. That was a huge crash to "walk away" from.

    Dear sir;

    The intent of my post was to mock the inaccurate information that was falling out of the commentators' mouths throughout the race.

    Kind regards;

    "little" bikes?? Did you look at who was on the grid? Lot of legacy (2nd generation) racers and talent. Id say its just as good as the races I watched in the 90s. I will admit... the view I get to watch the 20o from now is way better.

    Is the layout even the same?

    Pretty sure the chicane has been changed over the years.

    For anyone who thinks the field and race is remotely as talented and factory supported as it once was. Keep dreaming..

    The layout has been changed at least once since then. I think as much as 3 times and repaved at least once too.

    Here's the real ball breaker...Russell, DuHamel, Mladin, rode to victory on those "big" bikes with inferior tires compared to what these guys have now. Not that those tires simply sucked, they were great at the time, tire technology has grown by leaps just in the last 10 years.
