Some incorrect info in this thread. The last vrod rolled off the line in KC in October 2016. The “Softail” is made in KC. It is not a new Softail and dyna wasn’t killed, it was intended to be a completely new cruiser platform. Wasn’t supposed to be called Softail, but someone said it would cost a couple million for rebranding in dealers so they reused the name. Real Softails had been made in both KC and york since around 2013. Something needs to change when you are supporting 600k bikes a year capacity but selling only 240k.
