The Canadians said it turned up nothing too..but the owner was following up with the cops to tell then it was recovered..so who knows....
@joec I hope that guy gave Bait some extra good chewy treats. Cat deserves it after finding that guy's bike..
FYI, BPD has a chronic problem with their officers forgetting to enter stolen vehicles into NCIC. They also forget to remove them if you're fortunate enough to get yours back. We have LPR hits all the time entering the counties with owners driving their vehicles but it's still registering as stolen.
It would suck if they didn't cancel the BOLO and the real owner got the hassle of trying to prove it's his.
We have that problem wih Philadelphia, too. Anyway, well done Joe! Glad that Aussie is getting his bike back.
Hes just doing an oil change..found most of the parts that were ripped off of it. I called the rcmp and filed a report. Amazingly enough yesterday both the rcmp and the dealer he bought the bike from BOTH called him yesterday to let him know his bike was recovered. As well, apparently, several people up there saw this post and began making calls! Incredible.. The baltimore city police were completely ineffective..sucks. For you instagram people he @tacbike The baltimore story is covered.. I just wanted to thank everyone here for the assistance.. again the motorcycle community comes through for each other and makes it happen. Such amazing people.
Great Job.... DO NOT turn it over to Baltimore PD. They have a scam going with towing companies around here. Great Job. Can wait to move someday away from this place where thieves just love to steal everything on two wheels.
