What ever happened to McCormick? IIRC he was super fast at one time (Canada?) and showed a lot of potential/promise, then he was gone.

Lack of funds?

 

IMO he ran into a badly funded team, at a time when the talent pool was very deep (still is). Sucks. He actually reminded me alot of Spies.

As far as I know he went to school, and got a real job like the rest of us. There was a bit of a rumored comeback last year, but that's all I know from the interwebz.

He was sized for a new suit back at COTA MotoGP and from what I've heard he is testing for Yosh. I think its going to come down to money though. He's given out a number he will ride for which is far less than he made in AMA before but more than what the guys are making currently.

 

I can't speak for anyone else but I did.

 

IIRC, Brett had a very nasty crash in WSBK. I'd guess he never fully came back...

I met him at a Pridmore Star school years ago. Super cool kid, great rider and a really nice guy. Rode with him quite a bit and really liked him. It sucked seeing him have that crash and I haven't seen that much from him since.

 

Yup, at Assen back in 2012. Fractured his vertebrae, as well as additional damage to face/eye/hand. It was pretty nasty.
