On this, we agree. Too many people are picking a political side. Or a race side. Or a gun side. Or a xyz side. The ONLY single point of common ground we have is being politicized as we speak through NFL protests. Rather than pulling together as a country, as Americans, most are trying to use this to win their debate.

Hell, I just saw an article on Facebook this am discussing how the shooter enjoyed white privilege by being named a lone wolf as quickly as he was.

It's sick. This was a deranged asshole that chose to kill as many people as he could for whatever his reason was. He's now the best kind of deranged asshole ... dead. Prayers for those killed and their friends/families. Unfortunately, this will be/is just another divide to be used by politicians and the media to push their agendas.

 

...and its a damn shame, it really is.

I don't think this is a fair statement. I'm about libertarian as they come, and live in an area that is very, very conservative/right. I don't see the right wanting to 'hurt' the left at all. Zero. Nada. I can't say that about the not seeing the left want to hurt the right. The venom being spewed is pretty hard to ignore.

Like many others have said, I too am saddened that this is already so political but absolutely everything is these days... I don't like the abbreviations but SMDH fits pretty well here...

Well to be honest I have little desire to come together with terrorist groups such as BLM, Antifa, or socialist Dems. They are a blight on humanity and they spew nothing but racist hatred, use violence to intimidate others who have different opinions while not respecting the constitution as far as freedom of speech is concerned and want to destroy the fundamentals of capitalism which is the foundation of our free society.

They don't want to come together. They demand that I change my ways and beliefs and accept theirs. When I refuse, they try and shame me by labeling me any number of phobia based words. When the shaming doesn't work, they resort to intimidation and violence.

Sorry but their is no way in hell I'm willingly coming together with any of these whack job socialist, anti American terrorist.
