I've raced 600ss/600sbk since 2010 and decided to move up to the 1000cc in 2016 but unfortunately my work schedule kept me too busy to race this year. I'm hoping no one buys this bike because I could see myself doing track days or racing next year.. but as for now it's for sale. 2015 R1 Low Mileage, 620mi. Never crashed. Maintained. Started every week. Stored in a heated garage 365 days a year. Clean Title on hand. 600mi - mostly free-way breaking in and about 100mi or so being track days (track days were done before the build). The following has been installed but never used. All parts are BRAND NEW, never used and in perfect mechanical working order. YEC wire-harness + Flash tune ECU Yamaha R1M wheels FlashTune clutchless auto-blip kit Arrow full titanium exhuast (blue'd beautifully). Zero Gravity Double bubble Flexi-glass SS bodywork EBC pads Vortex rear sets Vortex front/rear stands Vortex clip-ons Vortex countershaft sprocket Vortex gas cap lock Vortex rear sprocket + 520 chain Vortex brake gaurd Carbon Fiber body work (left/right upper) GB-Racing engine gaurds Graves Carbon Fiber chain guard Penske V3 rear shock (550lb) GP Suspension forks (.975) Titanium axel lug nut (repaired with titanium welder when safety wiring - see picture) front/rear axel guides + rear brake spring to keep pads open = hassle free tire changes. Capable of changing both wheels in under a minute. Machined clutch and brake lever (I opted to keep the OEM brake lever on because it has better feel). Ohlins steering damper Recall was performed by Mike Velasco - very well known and reputable mechanic that specializes in the racing community. All of his recall work (dozens of motorcycles) are still running strong. Also did transmission work, it shifts faster faster, smoother, feels like butter when pinning it and will outlast OEM transmissions. other: 1 extra clip on, rear set parts and extra brake lever gaurd (woodcraft). 20k includes 4 new super corsa 1 (SC1) rear tires + tire warmers (2000 dollar value). pictures http://s316.photobucket.com/user/starp1ayer/slideshow/Yamaha R1
not parting out anything because I fully intend to play on this bike next year if it doesn't sell. also all the items on the bike are brand new. it would be disadvantageous to take stuff off and sell it at "used" cost If anything I might sell the tires (4 brand new SC1's) because they take up a lot of room LOL.
