    John Cook is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in the paddock. I respect him more than most, but I still disagree in respect to the lack of tech issue. I tech a lot of bikes at track days, and I've never once verified the torque on the drain plug. I don't know of anyone that has, either. Chalk it up to one of those 1 in a million things. The lack of tech inspection was not the reason for this fuck up.

    John is a great guy.....he helped my husband and I at one of our lowest points on a race weekend in 16 years of racing/track days. You never forget when good people help you in times like that.
