Not sure who your are quoting on that one. I suppose that I am the only one in this thread who had a "20" in my post.

That's not how I feel. If I felt that way, I would not have reproduced.;)
In a nut shell, I believe that there is a trend in the USA (Berneyism) for more centralized government control and that is a bad thing for liberty, a bad thing for climbing the ladder, and a bad thing for the future Evelyn Clarkes. We don't have to elect people whose policies limit our potential.

I was talking about Rob talking about G Dub - the post above mine, hence no quote. I'm not even going to bother responding to yours sorry. No point there.

I never said one word about Bernie being good. He's not, he's an idiot with an idiotic worldview that comes from academia and being rich. Poor people can't afford those views. Nothing I posted about the state of the US has anything to do with politics or the asshole politicians of all the parties or this election. It was in response to the comments I quoted and nothing more. If you're looking at an extremely short term view then yes, things are worse right now than in the recent past. I don't take a short term view when looking at the state of this country on the whole or the state of the residents.

  3. Huh? Who said a CEOs job is worthless? In almost all cases, they absolutely deserve to get paid a lot more than the average worker at their company. I just don't think CEOs jobs are that much more important now than they were 35 years ago, yet the pay gap has increased a great deal.

Companies failing and entire chunks of the country falling into ruin when they did so doesn't prove that to you? Okay...

  5. When they did what? Doesn't prove what?

Sorry, but your travels are associated with racing, talking to people that have disposable income to take part in a HOBBY that throws many away weekend after weekend.

I've been through the southeast, mid west, north west and south west out in the middle of nowhere for the past two years interacting with your average person.

Not the same story you hear from urban and suburban folks. I'm talking country folks.

You are far from worldy Sean. I'm talking farmers, ranchers, laborers, small business owners in small town USA, etc. It's not the same as people at the race track. Worlds apart. People don't want to hear "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" when you get a little off the interstates...

  8. If you can show that you've complained as much on here about military spending as you have about handouts, I will gladly apologize.

Lol I'm only 32 and my "adult life" of working and paying taxes and such started when I was 16.

My view regarding wera was based solely on personal experiences.

I also refuse to comment on how good or bad it was/is before my time simply because that would be me forming my opinions on the opinions of others.

But again you said things are better in most every way and I have one simple version that simply isn't better.

I can provide many other reasons where things certainly aren't better if needs but as with anything, everyone will have different views on what's better.

I can only give personal perspective as it relates to me and my business/racin.

Also I've never insinuated the world is ending and we are never coming back.simple fact, again from my own personal experiences is that healthcare for many is way more fucked than ever.

Both my parents require operations that they cannot get due to ACA. Are they going to die from it, no. Is their quality of life affected? Absofuckinglutely.

I'm finding myself workng many more hours to keep myself making the same $$$ as before and I'm finding myself entering more risky financial endeavors which hopefully will pay off.

And let just be frank, in my 32 years, I've NEVER seen the country more divided.

I wasn't around for civil rights, so I cannot speak on that. But in your personal experience, when's the last time you've seen this much division?

Clearly simple math escapes you. You are the last person on here to talk about someones intelligence.

You post things from think progress dot org and claim I use wack job news sources? Showing your hypocrisy usual.

I have raised concerns over ALL wasteful spending. I do see value in military spending, social programs, education, etc.. and I see tremendous fraud and waste as well and have stated this over the years. So because I do not criticize equally that justifies your errant assumptions? Umm, okay.

You're not the brightest bulb in the chandelier but you have a somewhat redeeming entertainment value.

Not incessantly complaining on an internet forum is synonymous with approval ... Duh.

We can therefore assume that shit roller is a supporter of kiddie porn, domestic abuse, and murdering little old ladies. I mean, I'm certain we can only find a handful of comments, at most, in which he's spoken out against them.

Or ... That's just a REALLY stupid way of forming an opinion of where someone stands on any particular topic.

LOL with your cashier friend being your reply..........In other words, you can't provide us with clear and defined reasons on what makes Whole Foods so great....OR other examples....I'm shocked!

No mention on George Soros [or his ilk] who join you liberals on all your gripes and complaints about capitalism, corporations, etc...., he is fully capable of creating a business model to exploit all the positives of Liberalism and poke holes on the Koch types........ and yet....NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING.....huh?
But you're not smart enough to question them or that fact......huh? Again, I'm shocked!

Over the years, I've done a decent job at keeping our county, State and Federal DOC's populated and CO's employed....thank you very much.

You, not so much on keeping the unemployed working though, which is par for the course with you being a Liberal.

Whole Foods AKA "Whole Paychecks" works because well off fuckers (like me) go pay stooped prices for shit there. It's not the working poor or middle class keeping that business model alive

  19. I buy almost all my food there. I'm middle class. Sorry, try again. Also, I've done price comparisons with the main local grocery chain, and the prices really aren't much different.
