it's not awful aesthetically, but doesn't blow me away with design. if it does everything it says it can and do it well, it will be a fantastic motorcycle. But I'll believe it when I see it.
My guess on the mirror signal light location is longer wiring harness equal more weight and eventually cost. Who cares we remove that junk anyway. It's primary job is a racebike first, streetbike second or am I on the wrong forum.
That exhaust routing is bothering me. The tab that sticks up out of the can is odd and means exhaust manufacturers will have to either incorporate it into their design or rework the whole thing altogether. Weird.
What's wrong with it? Looks pretty basic other than the stock can being huge to meet noise regs across the world. The Akra above looks easy enough.
TBH this bike to me looks like Suzuki cobbled some stuff together to make the Eicma show less of a letdown. It is a concept after all. I don't think we're seeing the finished product. Supposedly they moved the entire project forward as it wasn't meant for the light of day yet.
IDK, but this bike, to me, looks awesome. It looks like it has a lot of Moto GP design influence. I hope they can deliver. I'm sold.
New chassis New engine Variable Valve timing Quickshifter and auto blipper Ride by wire throttle Shower style secondary injectors Follower rocker arms Two servo valves in each exhaust header balance tube 10 level traction control Launch control Drive mode selector Full LED lighting 200HP ABS LED dash New Showa fork and shock Well, if you put it that way it's impressive.
Looks good to me but it's like they saved the headlight for last and just tossed on off the 03-04 model and called it good.
I just realized that image is a photoshop of the original with an akra can and the headlights brushed out. I'm sure this bike will be tits when it's officially released. Better than a ZX-10 out of the box and once Yosh gets ahold of it, plenty capable of giving Josh and Cam fits on a regular basis.
