Springfield Mile Streamed Live Tomorrow

That wasn't a normal Springfield race, Smith had enough horsepower that nobody could really get around him. Normally it's a draft and pass fest at that track instead of single file.

Oh well, that place will never be THE mile, THE Mile was San Jose. Springfield's corners are just too big and they don't have to slow enough to make it more exciting IMHO.

 

Lodi Cycle Bowl Friday night, and Sac Mile Sat night. Wonder if Troy will go to Lodi and race short track. That's where Roberts, Carr, Jorgenson and a few others have learned their craft.

 

Smith would have won even on an HD (and has in the past)...the kid can flatout ride!

Springfield is THE Mile and always has been...all the Miles are great, but Springfield is at the top of the list. It is those big corners that has for many years offered a big challenge at the checkered flag.

Note...this years crowd did suck though. Most years it is standing room only.
