Oh, but it IS necessary. We just don't know why yet. Until we know that, any buying is catching falling knives.

I have some ideas why, but they're for the dungeon, not here.

I don't know why but we're always about the highest in the whole country, been that way for years. We'll be 30 or 40 cents a gallon higher than Syracuse. It doesn't cost .40 cents a gallon more to haul it another 150 miles.

To late, the layoffs have already started. Most in the Permian Basin think this will be only a short term slump, so not much to worry about.:(

Might still be a little early to that party. Also be mindful of where their cash flow is coming from. SLB is Russia heavy which may prove to be a longer term problem.

It sure is a lot easier to store some shares than 100 gal of gas in your shed though!

Murvil, TN finally made it below $2/gal a couple of days ago. That, in and of itself is good news, but Diesel is down to $2.83/gal.......which is 6 cents a gallon less than when I bought my Diesel truck in Oct. 2010.

Were at $1.98 without discount, thought prices are starting to drop slow / level out. Is this the bottom?

Oil may go lower, but I'm hearing gas has reached its bottom. Input costs aren't just material, there's refining, storage, transport - blah, blah...

I'd like to see oil at 30-40, and gas at 1.50, but we've seen 0.10 back up this week...

My bad, $1.79. Little drunk when I posted the price last night. But still holding.

I'm sure the processing overhead doesn't fluctuate based on the cost of oil. I'd be curious to see what the cost per gal to process is. Actually its probably better I don't know...
