If you're looking for a solid flick to check out this weekend, this one gets a thumbs-up from me. Really well done. While the concept has been visited before, not as a kick-ass action movie. Probably my favorite Tom Cruise movie since Minority Report.
The trailers suggest Cruise's character must repeatedly die to win some kind of war. Can you give any details about that without giving away anything important?
I was surprised at how much humor was in it? For me, Cruise just keeps pumping out win after win on his choice of scripts. He seems to pick all the right roles for him and this movie is no different. I give it a 5 out of 5 for keeping me engaged from beginning to end. Definitely a must-see and no, I will not provide any spoilers.......
Complete ripoff of the idea from SOURCE CODE, based on the trailer. Not that that makes it bad, but the "original concept" hype isn't true.
Huh? Edge of Tomorrow is new and source code is a few years old. Kill? Not sure about that one and not saying source code is the original, just that edge of Tomorrow is not original.
Fool.... He plays a half gay vampire with long blonde hair and faggy aristocratic clothing... Like I wouldn't be into that
Just saw the movie this evening. It really is entertaining. Source Code // Groundhog's Day. It doesn't matter. The movie stands on its own. Special effects are believable and are not over the top. Tom C. Is a very versital actor. He does really well in just about all his movie takes. Issue: movie with my wife = 2 tickets $20, 2 theater beers $20, 1 popcorn $6. Almost $50 to catch a flick. That's too rich.
