my son has a project car that I am trying to help him get going... It is a 92 Dodge Stealth R/T. The previous owner swapped the tranny... He could never get the car to shift properly and gave up on it. I need a 90-92 Mitsubishi Diamante auto Transmission Control Unit (TCU) # MD751888. My son would be a very happy gear head if the wera inmates could possibly find this thing at a reasonable price...
Dear lord, run away from it. What a horrible way to teach your son not everything can or should be fixed!
I've been off the past 2 days to work on my car.I'm going in a little early before we start to do some light paperwork.I'll look it up then. But since it's for an older car,we may not have it.
You do realize that your kids first car needs to be a hoopty right? Just seeing the kids face would be worth it. Imagine the moment if you will.... Kid: This is so awesome Dad.. So what is it... 911? 450? AMG 65? Sheik: nope... Deuce and a quarter.
He will get a 69 camaro. that was my first car. first cars should be like a lego set. give em the pieces, the instructions, and let them build. I started on mine when i was 13 and had it built when i was 16. this also teaches em to fix the shit they break.
No dice,we don't have any, none are on the way to us. My cost is $413. We sent all of our 'old' parts to a company somewhere in the Midwest,I'll inquire.
Let me know if your midwest connection has anything... I ran a Car-part.com search and found some salvage yard ones for $200 or less... So that might be my next route.
