Very nice, I thought they were going with the black scheme but I guess thats just for testing.

May be a silly questino, but what's the blue and black thing that looks like it's above the swingarm pivot?

 

I liked the testing livery more. Or the red/white anniversary colors they have used previously. That was sick.

Like that he's got road rash on his elbow. Reminds of al all the pics in skate mags where they constantly have some form of injury showing unintentionally. It is just part of normal life.

 

I always thought it was a transponder until I saw it on the display bike at Daytona.

 

I have one in the same exact spot on my arm. The funny thing is its from a friction burn under the leather. Suit didn't even break through but when I pulled my arm out there's a rashed mark there.

 

Sachsenring 2011, FP1. Weird crash where the rumble strips wore/ripped through the leathers.

 

Have a scar in the same spot. Not from racing though. I think its just an easy spot to get scraped up like knees are.

 

So... I had to go read the barbershop thread after this post....

Well, it looks like a holder that something slots into, here's a pic with whatever is in it removed. Maybe a GPS receiver, maybe a brain unit for some data acquisition.

 

He needs to eat at Burger King some more or something.
