Only oil I can buy locally. Which one is best?

Looking for full synthetic. Cycle dealers have Amsoil, Yamaha.
Wallyworld has Mobil 1 and Valvoline, both specifically for motorcycles.
The SV has been running Spectro but no time to order before I load tomorrow.

 

Rotella T6 from Walmart in the blue 5 qt. jug. If price were no object, I would use the Mobil 1. But the Rotella stuff works well for me and it's cheap!

 

Same stuff I use.

 

I used to only use the Rotella syn, butt Wally is out of it. I want to stay with syn as that is what has been run in it. Yep about price; all the others are about $9 a quart.

 

Any motorcycle specific synth will be fine.

 

Advance Auto here has the Rotella T6, $22.95 qt.
Price may have made my decision.

 

You should be able to find Lucas Motorcycle Synthetic at Advance and O'reilly's too.

Rotella T6 full syn. is a great oil at a good price. Been using it in my race bikes for 5 yrs. with No issuses.

 

By the way rotella now has the MA (motorcycle) rating listed. It's not "certified" I think but it shows it as one of the standards it meets.

Where do you get 5qt jugs? I can only find the 4qt./ ones. Great oil and I've always been able to find it at Wally world, did they stop carrying it or was your store temporarily out?

 

I've never bought a 5 qt. jug it's always been 4. Still a good deal at $21.
