The fatcats who passed the laws, have NEVER pulled a carb apart or for that matter work on their own shit...or cut thier lawns or worry about their boat engines being fked..they just call someone to, do it / fix it and pay the bill.

What they heard was "Hey this shit works and will make us some money, pass it into law and I will make a donation". Done Deal.

 

Orvis, it goes far beyond just the ethanol mandate.

Monsanto has successfully applied patent law to plant genetics, and has won lawsuits against seed producers whose heirloom crops have been tainted by Monsanto GMO pollen.

Seriously. If that doesn't get a "WTF? " out of anyone who doesn't have a stake in Monsanto, then there's absolutely no hope. :down:

Corporate aggressiveness is one thing. Buying the government off is indefensible.

Eventually, they WILL figure out a way to charge you for water that will make gas look cheap.

 

Except diesel is a good thing. Less pollutants, greater mileage, good lubricisity (until the gov fucked with it) in the engines it was designed for.
