Hi WERA family....It's Major here. I was released from the hospital yesterday and am back home in NC. My wife and I cannot express how much it means to us to have such a wonderful extended family with all of you wera racers and your families. I hope David White is okay and healing up. He is a good person and good racer. This was a racing incident and we all accept the risks when we line up together. I have been fortunate over my race seasons to have avoided these types of injuries until now. No worries....I will heal up and be back to see all of you and your families soon. If any of you find yourselves up here at Lake Norman NC.....please call us and we will go out on the boat for a little bench racing as I know we will want to hear all about what is going on at the track. Heal up quick. Our Olivia enjoys playing with your Olivia, get well soon so those two can hang out some more.
Glad you are better. I think this is you behind me (not for long) back in 09 at Tally. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/zf_B2fo0jY-90GNZAnbbOdMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink
My brother and my crew chief were watching at T6 when you wrecked. There was a lady taking pics, she got most of it on camera. She showed it to my brother. She caught one of you sliding on your head. But, not sure who she was. Glad you both are gonna be OK.
Great news! It was alarming to pass by under a red flag and see you on the deck. Take care and heal up quick.
That was me. I am working as much as possible when I get home from work to get through the images. I hope to have some up in a couple of days. Glad to hear you are doing better. Took me a second to get the photog back after the racer wife in me was panicked so I did not get the whole crash.
Major sorry to hear Road Atlanta bit you and wishing you a speedy recovery - we will miss you and the family and hope you get to return soon!
