OK, I will admit to this. Kentucky does not provide a certain elixir that is abundant in West Virginia... Yuengling Many cans were consumed before said walk-off. Now, since you guys are so good with figures, how many yards off does one become per can of Yuengling consumed? If you all can figure that it will help me to remember how many I consumed on this particular day. (if you keep track of how many beers you actually drink then you're an alchoholic....so I've heard)
Wait, so you were knocking back cold ones and then were hitting center mass at 1000 yards? Oh, this tall tail is getting better and better!!!
Just having fun with you guys! Dang, I've read way more serious threads here that didn't get this harsh. Ya'll need to come to grannies with me in WV and get down to some fun shooting....that means shooting, drinking, loud music, pissed of wemin's and all! Yeehaw
That looks like 200 yards to me, LOL. If that's 1000 then my 800 yard range (yes I measured) just increased to about 15 miles or something. Once the corn is off I'll see how my AR does at 800 just for kicks. Am I allowed to single load or do they have to be mag length?? Edit: F*cker!
Probably. Because if you can shoot the center out of a standard size target at 1k, you might be better than Tom Sarver.... http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2007/07/sarver-shoots-1403-group-at-1000-yards/
I recommend the HK 416, its what I have at work and love it!! Germans can make a weapon, just don't buy the bikes.
FYI, there are also .308 upper rcvrs available, but you can't put them on an AR-15 lower. Pressures are higher and the magazine well won't accommodate the .308 clip. This is probably the AR I will build next. (rd400 guy could prolly shoot 2000 yards with one of these!)
