Help with random part in belly pan

I found this random part after a trackday in the belly pan of a 09 gsxr 600. Can you help me ID this part. I have looked all over the bike and cannot find anywhere this goes. Bike runs fine. Thanks for your help

 

Gas Tank insert?

 

looks like a bottle cap and a random metal piece.

 

I also vote for the insert into the gas tank cover.

 

looks like a spacer washer insert from a factory exhaust mount on the bottom of the bike. Where there are fixed spots to mount stuff under the bike that looks like it goes to one of those. look under there and see if you can find a round hole off the bottom of the bike with a rubber gromit in it, if so that should fit right in it. Have you upgraded your exhaust lately?

 

That's it.I upgraded the exhaust two years ago but I guess it finally worked its way out.

Seat insert?

 

I had a HUGE exhaust hanger complete with cushion and everything turn up in my bellypan after road atlanta. Definitely wasnt from my bike.

Kinda sketchy to know must have ran over it. Seriously it was palm sized!
