Why wouldnt the track be swept after Moto2?

It looked like a mine field off line.

I found that odd too. Looks liek it was not swept at all, all weekend. The second XR1200 race looked sketchy as hell too.

CAUSE IT'S NOT NASCAR......they would have cleaned that with a toothbrush and made sure the track temp was perfect and put up a canopy to cover the entire track

I don't recall seeing it that bad anywhere else, ever.
It looked like the crabs on Christmas island.

Cause the guy driving the truck with the large blower on it would have left the AC on and leaked water all over the track. No really I was thinking just do a lap with the blower truck.

Anything would have made it better. I think nobbies could have given better traction on some parts of the track.

FWIW, they swept 15 and 16 after the GP race which was before the 1200 race at the end of the day.

During the second 1200 race either 3/4 or 7/8 looked real bad still. One of the switchback areas but I cant recall which now.

They mentioned on the BBC broadcast that if they swept it, it would have removed the rubber that was laid down on the race line, effectively making it as greasy as it was Friday. Just what the announcers said, but it sort of makes sense to me.

So don't sweep it....use one of the track blowers on the back of a truck...

We were told not to sweep it, but to only clear debris in the race lines.

Putnam is the only track I've seen brush off the track. Assholes have silver lining.
