Before you race again, I'm going to need to to take all the kite string off of your key. I ran off the track three times just watching the video from the distraction.

That's my GoPro safety tether in case of disaster, or the suction comes loose. One 35lb strand from the inside of a para-cord.

    Smmmmooooothhh....<cough, cough>

I raced there in the rain several years ago...........no thanks.

Looks like a fun time, good job!

Racing in the rain there was HORRIBLE until the government starting using their own pavement for driver training. They used to actually put antifreeze on track, then do slip/control/spin drills with the marshals and cops. Now that homeland security has real money, (welcome to socialism unfortunately) they don't do that on the main track anymore. Since the repave and the policy changes i.e. government expansion at the facility, racing there in the rain isn't unlike any other track. But man are you right, years ago racing in the wet there was treacherous.

Those strips on the track still need to go unless you're into the "running from the cops" feel to your races.

    Who says 6HW is dead?

Havn't been to that track, but looks like the rumble strips are smoother than the asphalt.

    funds for GNF:

    $200 signups, air and just
    $50 fuel - good
    $40 pucks, no sweat
$300+ in tires- high but doable
$400 each in fines for the 6 DOT weigh stations between here and there $2400

    nah, sorry, can't make it

Must be a light beer belly..............drink the good stuff, call me when you get over 230# small fry. I think Dyle is bigger than that, and he's the runt of the SE V7 litter.

260# without gear. I could get 2 seconds a lap if I quit the Labatt's, potato chips and chineese buffet.

I was rocking just under 230 naked and of course over that in leathers. After not drinking soda, and eating smaller meals spread out over the day more evenly, I'm down around 222 or 224 now. But if you guys say I can't go to Chinese buffets anymore, well then screw it. 230 ain't so bad!!!!!

Don't worry. I hit one at least once a week and I'm under 170
