That "stealth" paint job is a multi-thousand dollar option on Lambo's. :)

My creative team is currently working on a paint concept for Jennings. By all reports, we won't be disappointed.

Now all I have to do is not shit-wreck it at Barber.

It's probably a lot easier to tell it's a girl's bike when you're on it, Sally.

I painted mine pink already so there will be no confusion/uncertainty.

Stupid question but can someone tell me the difference between the bridgestone 003 and the 003RS? I am about to buy tires for the little 250 and want to make sure I get the right ones. This is a track only bike.

003 is race, 003RS is race/track day. Either is fine for the 250

    coming tomorrow morning. :)

The 003 comes in three different durometers, and the 003RS doesn't. We use the 003 front, and the 003RS rear because B-stone doesn't make an 003 rear tire in our size.

I would love to find out how much difference there is in compounds between the 003 Type 2 (hard) and the 003RS. Maybe that's why the 003 starts with Type 2, because the RS is considered the Type 1?

The R/S changes compounds as you go across it. The edge is softer. That's why they kick butt.

Found some 17" wheels to put on my old gen. They didn't come with any brake discs though. I'm all about riding on a shoestring budget so, the question to the all knowing ESS dudes is what are your recommendations for disc brands/vendors and where a not so expensive place to find them?

How many of you sissybike racers are going to Roebling next weekend?

Want to carry my bike? I'm coming back from Florida that Sunday, guess I could always stop off for a quickie.

Sure thing. If you can get it to my house before Saturday, I can carry it down.

But, if you finish ahead of me, I'm leaving it on the side of I-16 on the way home.

Ebay is the best place. Are they new-gen 17"s?

    I'll browse around ebay.

The wheels are the new-gen 17"s. I have one of JeffroJ's convert kits that should work with the old calipers.

+1 for eBay, and also try craigslist. To do a real search of craigslist go to searchtempest.com so you can search all towns within an xxx mile radius.

Aftermarket rotors are ridiculously expensive. Buy used OEM if possible.

Vesrah pads up front are well worth it, too.

    Good luck!
