i'm not sure if this is the right place to put it but i thought some of you may be interested in this bike. i'm not sure how many sold but it wasn't a lot. here are a few pics..
Has your mate any affiliation with a motorcycle raceteam based in England? Ya know drives their race truck, wrench's bikes, does a lot of loading & unloading, things of that nature.
1. are those ktm boxes stacked in your boxes? 2. i love that people buy 40k in motorcycles, then put them on $99 handy stands. if its good enough for george beale, right? cool pics
Jay Ruess was racing one out at Chuckwalla last month and again at the WERA round at Buttonwillow last weekend. Very well put together and a beautiful bike. Apparently they come set up sprung very soft though - kinda weird for a bike meant to race right out of the box.
pretty sure that stand comes with the ktm... i use pit bull on both my bikes but hell if the mfg of the bike supplies you one, i think it MIGHT be a safe alternative.
Good question. Im far from rich, but I havent had a room mate since I was 20 years old. I hated having room mates.
i own the house, he rents from me. he's home about a week a month and pays more than half the mortgage. i'm only 26, first house, why not make things easier? and regarding the stands, they come with the bike, there are about 6 pit bulls in the garage.
FYI to everyone reading this thread. Don't ever remove the fuel tank. It took an Ex-Factory mechanic, and the one the ESP guys to get it back on. We ended up loosening the subframe to get all the holes to line up. It seriously took like an hour.
I'm not joking. The fit was so tight that the holes wouldn't line up. I'm also not joking about the Mechanics who figured it out. I'd say there was like 3-4 racers who are accomplished crashers as well there. I guess I should add that we were drinking at the time.
