Anyone wanting a Lightweight rider on your lightweight team? I'm wanting to get Tyler more track time when we are at Miller this year. I know the race is $450 which we would split and then we split tires, fuel, etc. Also work out what happens with crash damage.

Tyler's only been down once in the past 2 1/2 seasons, on the first lap of practice with cold tires.

Rob, On the off-chance we run a second team, I would consider Tyler for a seat.

Will you guys be running the first AFM round at Bwillow?

Originally we were going to, with USGPRU, but they moved that race to Chuckwalla. We are trying to run WERA, USGPRU, Chuckwalla and maybe some Willow series this year. All of those organizations will let Tyler race.

With AFM, Tyler was approved to race last year, but for this year they said he wasn't old enough to run a SV650 at the Buttonwillow round. That's a shame as that is one of his favorite tracks. He turns 15 in April, and all the Infineon rounds are out too. So I don't know if I want to pay another membership for just a couple of rounds of AFM. Even though I believe AFM probably has the best SV650 competition in California.

Now if you have some pull to get Ty into that Buttonwillow round we will be there. I know he can ride the 125 or the Moriwaki at that round, but I wanted to get him on a SV there. Last time we were there, April of last year, he ran 1:59's, and he has definitely gotten faster.

If I add up all the membership fees I have to pay that's a few sets of race tires or another round somewhere so that is why I'm not sure about AFM for this year.

All depends on if Kawasaki posts contingency , and if so, what it is.

LWT at Miller? Do they use a sundial for a laptimer?

An Abacus. I think you will see laps between 2:05 to 2:15.

    Ouch...no ride for young Tyler.:D

You may all laugh but it is still awesome and at least I have a good excuse to get passed by Ben Bostrom on his R-1.:p

We're seriously considering making the journey to Tooele with the Peace Beast 650. Problem is that it's sandwiched between Talladega and Road Atlanta regionals. That would potentially deflate a whole lot of wallet in 3 weeks time.

I might have room in the trailer for your bike.
I'm picking up other bikes at tally and bringing them out.
