I'm thinking I may get one to hopefully help Tyler out. For the folks that have used them, which ones do you like? Since I've never used one, not sure if the 4th row is helpful, or just makes it more bulky to haul around? I found http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=5206 with 3 rows. and this one with 4 rows. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=8624 Anyone have one they don't use anymore for sale? Thanks, rob
Spiros from Team Veloce was getting rid of a bunch of stuff from their team garage. Pit boards were among them but I'm not sure if he still has them. They were priced extremely well.
Yeah Rob, a dry erase marker or 4 and a board and yer good to go. I'm amazed riders can see the boards down the straight at 160MPH +
black and gray. They're expensive because the market is too small to mass produce something like this.
We sell quite a few of the motocross style pit boards to the endurance racers. They are cheap and easy. You can get different colors and graphics so your rider can pick it out.
I like having 4 rows so I can use the top one for identification when theres 30 pit boards being shown on lap 1 of a DSB race. It depends what info you want on there. I like to have lap, gap, and position. I use the digital board (black and gray), and although I haven't been the one holding it out there I can say it's easy to read, even at VIR through the kink. Plus it saves the hassle of trying to shuffle through a stack of cards to find the right number.
