Is it common for these babies to jump out of gear? at this stage, 2nd gear only????

Nope. They last forever, basically. I've got 10k hard track miles on a couple. Look elsewhere. Is your boot hitting the shift rod?

I had a guy I was working with constantly popping out of gear. His size 13s were hitting the shift rod and with the SV it just takes a tiny nudge to push it out. Tell him to shrink his feet in a sauna

I've had a couple, that were crashed in a certain gear and caused a bent shift fork, but most the time it just needs adjustment, usually down
