Trying to peice my 2006 gsxr 600 back together after I layed her down. I am wotkinh on the tail section now and do not know what the small black bow that mounts to the aluminum section of the subframe. It has a wiring harness coming out as well as 2 cables that look like throttle cables. Traced them down to the exshaust... Can anyone help? Thanks

Its for the exhaust valve. Most people just remove it because it causes the FI light to come on. You unplug it, unbolt it from the bike and remove the cables. There's a wire going to the ecu that you have to remove as well. Do a search for exhaust servo removal and there should be more info on which one to pull.

    Thanks

Really appricate it! So if I remove it, I will not experiance any problems with my bike? It is going to be my everyday rider and not a track bike.
