Another freaking Oil Rig explosion off the coast of LA?

Yeah, but wasn't there some controversy about the fire fighting SOP and the deck crashing into the water, then that valve failed, I mean it was just one catastrophe after another...

 

There is this thing they do before the oil and gas start coming out of a well, to actually get to the oil. It's a process that takes a good bit of time, called drilling. :up:

 

You know, hardly a day goes by when I don't learn something here...

 

I think discovery channel should have some programs about oil rig safety. I wonder how I can go about making that suggestion.

They're not sure if the oil just came from the rig itself, not the well...
