That Feeling We Get Right Before The Green Flag

Back when my boys rode MX in the 90's, they had a gate from turn 2 to paddock 44+ and would fill it and have a second row of 8-10 riders. Alessi, Stewart, Osborne and Millsaps were there...and everyone wanted a piece of them...hah!

It had me thinking of something that happened at the Talladega Nationals round back in April. As Chuck waved the green flag for the minis race right before the Saturday endurance round started, this kid stalled his 'tard and fell over. Hung his head as he started walking away. The marshals came out, righted his bike and started trying to get it running again. The whole time they were trying to get his bike going the kid was jumping up and down, full leathers helmet and all. They finally got him back on the bike and he ended up winning IIRC. Wished I had a camera rolling for that one.
