Current Clubman bike '86 SRX is Vintage 4 legal and has been raced for about 15 yrs. I've been racing it since '96 and plan to replace it in this class and eventually retire it to Vintage duty, but here are the specs:

Stock frame with chrome-moly subframe built by original owner to be used
as a monoshocker, retrofitted with dual shocks as per Vintage 4 rules.

Weight approx 300 lbs. Rake 23.5', 96mm trail, wheelbase 53"
SRX forks, racetech valves and springs, 30 wt fork oil
    Fork brace machined locally
FZR 400 3.0x17" front wheel, SRX Calipers...no race pads available
CBR F1 rear wheel widened 4.5x17"
    Nissin Front Master Cylinder
SRX triple clamps modified by Computrack Atlanta for offset
Works Performance dual racing shocks lengthened approx 1 3/4"
    Raask Rearsets
    Suncoast racing throttle
    FZ600 swingarm
Michelin slicks Fr 12/67x17 Rear 16/62X17
Beasley MuZ Skorpion upper fairing with Gustaffson double bubble screen
    Beasley MuZ Skorpion F. fender
Rear seat is an aftermarket old TZ 250 item of unknown manufacture
Pipes are 2:2 from Barkers Bars. One piece custom for SRX

Motor: SRX 2mm over for 621cc. Latest porting done by Derek Krotheimer
of Allsport Cycles, Roanoke. JE piston. Megacycle X4 cam w/required
springs, ti keepers, etc. Stock valves. Carillo Rod. Undercut Transmsn.
Clutch has Barnett springs, Vesrah friction plates and MuZ steels. Keihin CR
37mm carbs. Oil cooler from Lockhart-Philips.

    Re: Re: bumpity bump

Well give me this weekend at Jennings and that GS that James is on will have me on it and a picture to prove it 'cause it's MINE!! BTW, the carbon fiber bodywork is definitely dead sexy..well, the upper and tail that I have is :)D )..hint hint! :D

  5. RZ Racer

RZ Racer It passed tech LAST time!

Haven't raced it in clubman yet, but it's definitely legal.

    '76 rd400 motor
rz 350 suspension front and rear(twin shocks added to make it f-500 legal)
    fzr 400 fairing and tailsection
    '73 rd 350 frame

The motor is pretty far from stock:
    IT200 pistons (430cc)
    DG radial heads
    MRA Stage III portwork
    34mm mikunis
    PVL ignition
    Falicon Crank

Never been on a dyno, but seems to be low-mid 60's. Forks could use some work, as they are still stock rz internals. I'll put goldvalves, or somthing like them in if I ever get some spare $$$. Redwing "Hammerhead" shocks work nice and always draw comments from people over 40.

We're going to need help from someone who knows what they're doing. I just tried attaching what I thought was a jpg file to a BBS message and it didn't recognize it as jpg
