I started to see double Sunday morning, I thought it was due to stress....consulted an eye specialist Monday morning. After spending a few hours with him he is 95% sure it's VI nerve palsy all though I'm getting some blood work done to rule out some other causes.

I wanted to see if there is anybody on the BBS that has experienced this or know someone that has had it, it's very scary and I am extremely scared since I don't yet know if this will be cured and how long this will take.

CNVI can be caused by a multitude of things. Did he want you t see any other specialist or order an MRI scan of your brain?

he decided to run blood work for, CBC,RPR,MHA-TP then maybe some more tests depending if any of these come back negative/positive. The general eye doctor sent me to this specialist and he wanted an MRI but after speaking to the specialist he felt that this is VI nerve pulsy, I did ended up getting results from my general doctor is my blood pressure is 144/106 in my left arm and 140/106 in the right which can still lead to hypertension or diabetes....doing blood work tomorrow.

i woke up one day to very blurry vision, just thought it was whatever from sleeping, showered got dressed did some things noticed it was like way later in the afternoon and still blurry vision, went away, i know i need some glasses (direct tv menu is blurry unless i squint) but i dont know what happened that day, i rarely sleep and work all the time so i chalked mine up to just being wore out, but who knows, good luck with the tests, dont get all worked up until you find out for sure whats going on

saw an internal medicine specialist, he requested an MRI for tomorrow ....in a way it's bad news since he also thinks it's something neurological in the brain but hopefully the test will come back positive so we'll know what is causing it but not with something serious (tumor, cancer etc...)

Rarely is it a structural lesion in the brain. It is good to check and cover all the bases. He should also check for Lyme disease as well as for monoclonal bands in your cerebrospinal fluid.
