This is what I got from them: "If you are a vet for the current or past war meaning you have been overseas then the free day applies. You sign up online and put vet in the notes section and bring me a copy of the dd214. Thanks! Roy" I'm in Sanford, NC. I'm thinking about going but it's an 8 hour drive. I have a full size tundra, would be willing to tow someone's trailer or just take another bike to split gas costs, can meet on the way up there. Let me know, -Steve
Yeah that's a pretty sweet guarantee. Vet update: If you show orders showing you deployed, you're good to go.
questions to answer Thanks for covering some of the questions you all. I confirm the above info is correct. There is no membership necessary. Also you can sign up at the track however I will highly advise pre registration for availability. If not call the shop or trackday cell to make sure there are still spots.please do not show up without confirming there is av ailability I hate turning riders away after a long early drive when there is no room. Also only 35 per group less than half spots available for all groups. Intro/novice/advanced/expert.
If the forecasted high goes above 65, I think I'll come. As of now it's 58... Too cold for me in the morning.
If anyone going has a spare rear tire warmer they could loan me at the track it would be awesome. Tested mine today and the rear is on the fritz for some reason.
