Now I see why you guys hang out together. The e-mail he sent me from the airplane confirmed everything I think about him:

I had the nachos at the airport bar, chased down by a dark, stanky
beer. I expect to have a very dubious microwaved charter airline
dinner very soon. I'll have another dubious meal at breakfast time,
which will involve orange juice and coffee, followed by more coffee
once we land.

I figure that by the time I arrive my colon will be ready to explode

Thankfully, he was too tired to follow thru on that threat when he got here. So I am glad to report I didn't have to fumigate the apartment.
