Hey Jason if he ever wants to to know just let him know i was working turn 2 and was the first resonder to him and holding his head. I watched from the very first thing that went wrong all the way till the ambulance shut the doors. I can't even say how horrible i have felt since i first lifted his visor and was yelling at him to wake up and it didn't go away till i heard he woke up and seems just fine.. If he wants to know anything just ask.
Hey Ricky, Haven't been online for a couple days and just saw this post......was reading from the beginning and what a relief to hear about the great news! Glad you are doing better! Now get out of there and get that bike fixed. I enjoyed racing with you this year at VIR and hopefully we can go out at again soon. Brian K
Im sure he will be on here soon and see this and I will let him know as well. Thank you for all you did for him. Jason
Wow, Just read this post from the beginning, at least now I'm breathing. Glad things are better. Hope to see you at the track soon!!
Glad to hear you're up & feeling better. Rest up and listen to your doctor. Now about this "perfect" part....
[Now about this "perfect" part....[/QUOTE] Guess that means he is going to be even faster. Great to read about the recovery.
I don't pray as much I as should but hearing the terrible news as I came home from Chicago I stopped what I was doing and said this simple prayer. " Lord, be with Ricky and his family. Watch over them, let Ricky be healed and back to himself just as fast as he is on the track" Ricky, BTW...thanks for being a great roll model in the pits and out on the track. You set a high standard for alot of us racers on how we want to be. Always kind willing to help never any attitude, even knowing that your one of the "fast Guys" I could go on and on but won't. It's aleady been said in everyone's posts  Michael Buffington, aka "the slow guy on the blue Duc"
I just got off the phone with him and while he doesnt agree with his wife that he's perfect he does say he feels pretty good and I looks like he will be on his way home today. A little banged up but still a SQUID
