After digging around under the sofa cushions, looking under the seats in the truck, and selling a few rearsets I've found enough cash to add V6LW to the cash payouts at Barber.

This means every vintage class that runs on Saturday will have a cash purse.

So tune'em up boys - there's money on the line.

Glad you reminded me about Steve-O. He will be joining us at Barber and will be handling tech for vintage bikes.

So I suggest you be very nice to Steve-O for the next few weeks. Give him a call and tell him how much you miss him, maybe send flowers..........;)

Kick ass news Jim. C'mon boys, bring the bikes out. I remember a few years ago the V6lw grid at Barber had 23 bikes on it and that was without a payout. Surely we can beat that this year.

I lost track - is my '90 TZ a V6LW bike? Did it used to be?

Your 1990 TZ250 would be legal in V6HW but not V6lw. It never was legal in V6lw. You can run your RD400 in either Formula 2-stroke or V6lw but they race at the same time so you have to pick one class or the other.

Chris do you have the parallel design motor, i.e., not the V-twin? If so, why not eligible due to 'unaltered' (like design) major components? (P 57 Rulebook).

someone chime in on this...take a look at "Component Specifications' on P.57, yea or nay on Chris' '90 TZ250?

How big's the purse. It may be worth swapping the front end out on the VFR for Saturday. :)

    YAM#849 y'all watch this...

Yep, the TZR (street based bike) is OK in supersport trim, but no full-on GP in the LW division.

    Joe?

The question for me Joe, is, will you be running two stroke or V6LW? That may make it an easier decision for the 19 hour drive.

I'm not gonna be happy unless I dip into the 39's. 40's should do for the win in V6 though.

Not at that pace. It's been a while since I was there. I would have to take it easy for a while. Then I could step up to that pace.
