My buddie put it away for the winter and locked the doors now the battery is dead and he cant get in any suggestions

You can open the hatch with the key. Then open the door with the door release located in the back driver's side under the carpet.
uhhh i would say leave the doors unlocked next year...or run a cable into the wheel well that releases the hood so you can jump or put a tender on the battery (not real sure on this is accomplished but my buddy had the same set up on his old S-10 with shaved door handles) G
battery probably just sat too long unatended. There is always a power draw on the battery if the cables are connected. Next year suggest he put the battery on a trickle charger that senses when the voltage is low and kicks on then off once good voltage is reached... cycles on and off by itself.
..... and unless your buying us all a Z06 or ZR1 don't post about such cars. you'll give us corvette envy
