Hey all, It's time to teach Newton's laws of motion to the wee tots in my science class. Years ago I saw a multi frame photo sequence of a bike that exited turn 10, (without rider) headed to the cornerworker station, sailed over the embankment, and lodged in a tree. It's the perfect example of a racebike in motion tends to stay in motion.... Anyone know of a link to it? The only memory I have of a label is Moon Shot. Thanks, Steven Barber 106v
I'm sure there's video of a GSXR ghost riding at VIR for a very long time since it was at an AMA event and Speed was televising it. This was about 2 years ago I think. It was really freaky how long that thing ghost rode.
Please Please please Post the rest of those pictures!!! I'd love to see the progression, my wife says it must be fake, she doesn't believe in physics I guess. See you at Summit Steven!! Rus
That is WILD....post em up someone!!!! I've got a ghostrider story from when I worked corners for AMA at Barber....Opie Caylor....it was interesting to say the least.....but the bike didnt wind up in a frikkin tree!!!
Someone post the rest up or send them to me and I'll post them up here. nas19320 (at) yahoo (dot) com.
I've seen a lot in trees over the year but what I liked about the Summit one was that it cleared the wires
Here are the rest. The sequence numbers are on them. There is no #7. I posted #1 and #3 in my first post.
I was there. It really happened. This was before photoshop existed. Don't remember the rider, but I'll bet a dollar that Roger Lyle does and probably any other detail. He's easy enough to get in touch with or at least he was.
