    Great news guys and gals...

Announcing Wide Open Wednesdays (WOW!) at Bluegrass Motorsports Park.

Ride ALL DAY from 11 to 6 for $150.

That's right, come and go as you please on an open track for seven straight hours!

We may even run selected WOW's from noon until 7PM, but we'll keep you posted on that development.

We will take a 30 minute lunch break at 2PM but we will have start boxes set up so that you may practice starts during this time on the front straight.

    Dates for 2009 WOW's:
    May 13
    July 1
    July 29
    August 26
    Sept 23
    Oct 21

This is an open track format perfect for test and tune or just plain having fun. These events are open to experienced Intermediate and Advanced riders/Racers. Qualification criteria will be listed on the Sportbike Track Time website.

This will be great. I always wondered why road courses didnt do things like this. When I raced MotoX I could go just about anywhere and practice all day... SWEEEEEEET!!!!

Not sure if me and the old EGGFOOYoung can make it.

That track is all the way down in Kentucky. It has to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 minutes or so away from us.

May just have to borrow some unexpecting friends street bike and ride down Interstate 75,, to the track....I'll be right back..I promise....:D

  8. Sounds like fun. With an 11 am start time, I could leave Pittsburgh early in the morning, ride the track all day, and be back in Pittsburgh, all in the same day!

    No, Kentucky has no electric.

    Or indoor plumbing.

    Or schools.

    Or shoes.

I am so completely stoked for this... No hotel the night before, just drive down, ride, drive home, and at that price? WELL worth the day off work.
