WERA Jan @ Fontana Schedule

How set in stone is the "superstock" decision? There were four women racing lightweight twins "superbikes" in the AFM last year, and I don't believe any of them would be able to race in the WERA women's class. There is another AFMer on an lightweight twins superbike, she's coming to Fontana too and I know she'd be really bummed out if her bike couldn't run the women's class. Really awesome thing that you're doing, I just hope that as many women as possible can participate!

Maybe make it like the endurance race!! Overall places, and places for each class.... then ALL us girls can ride.... but simpliar... like LW, MW, and HW under SB rules

... it only figures I'd pick this year to race something other than a 600! sheesh!

Agreed, especially since it's on such short notice this year. I was even debating a few months ago whether to keep racing my SV or to bump up to a 600. I can't tell you how excited I am about a women's class, but if I knew it was in the works I might have made preparations for a 600! Maybe like what she said, have us all out there at once, and then have class finishes for HW, MW and LW.

Omg! I just read in RRW online that there weren't enough racers signed up to have racers only! So now they've opened it up to trackday riders & only 2 racer groups

Is there really that few making the races?

Hopefully, they can get enough street riders (I bet they can) even though they added the street group a bit late.

 

Well it is also possible that the pansy ass So Cal racers are afraid it might rain and want to wait until the last minute to decide.
