Bought another SV for some street riding the other day. My problem is one side of the bike has a polished frame, I guess they got tired. Anyway I dont want to take the bike apart to get the frame powder coated right now so my only choice is to polish the other side to match. Can ayone tell me how this is done, what do I need to buy to do it myself....Thanks
Buffing wheel, something to turn it and some compound/polish. Or bring it over and we'll knock it out. Let me know.
I have a word document on "How to Polish your frame" that I picked up several years ago when I bought my FZR600. Shall I send it to you?
I get enough attention in this town without a fleet of bling diesels following me around Sure I would like to see it [email protected]ks
funny you say that i kne one guy who polished a Rf-600, when it rained he couldn't get home quick enough.
Of course I did ...what's wrong with that? No I thought it would be "cool" when I first started riding but then I figured out it was a steel frame and polishing is not a good idea. SmokeSignal...I'll send you that when I get home tonight, it's on my desktop at home.
Ok. I bought everything to do the polishing a while back to do the cases on my GS850, then never found that "roundtuit".
