i thought i'd be smart and leave the windows open last night...'woke up to dumb and dumber style snot-cycles and 42 degrees in the house. my candy-ass is not ready for winter.
I'm sitting in my office, 30 minutes after my ride in, and I'm still wearing my over-jeans ski pants. Hands are still a little numb. It's cold out there. (But the 102F Jacuzzi felt great this morning!)
No, at home. I had morning coffee in the Jacuzzi this morning, then rode in. Still sore from MINI-MOTARDing at ALLSPORTSGP.COM on Sunday... brought to you by Monty Warsing! My new DRZ is the bomb!
We started a small fire last night, and it was 80 in the living room with the windows open before we went to bed. 50 is barely cool enough to start that thing. Felt good this morning when we got up, though (38 outside).
YES, bring on global warming! I've taken to burning styrofoam piles on the weekend. Some nights I'll let my truck idle all night. If you pour oil on the exhaust before going to bed you can get some good 'carbons into the atmosphere. Every little bit helps. We all have to do our part to banish winter forever.
It was 38 this morning in Oxford and I had to turn the heat on last night for the 1st time  If it's going to be this cold it better snow so I can get a day or two work:up:
Ha! I've been burning my old race tires stuffed with styrofoam peanuts and soaked with used motor oil. You're right; we are all in it together. Soon everyone's race season will be as long as Nascar's!
There's nothing to smile about when you live in an oven... I think your brain is a little on the over done side from the summer.. And you guys facing snow covered roads for the next 4 months... How in the hell do you ride? I'll stick to my beautiful 70 degree year round weather.
