The smart ones cut east at Richmond, VA, to 301 and go through Annapolis, MD, completely avoiding the DC-Baltimore clusterf**k.
I take that route when I’m heading to the Norfolk/Outer Banks area, but man I hate 301 from Upper Marlboro down to the Tydings Bridge. Tons of little towns and lights.
Maybe see if Sete Gibernau has any ownership? If so maybe Rossi was involved? A little last lap push?
Agreed, Upper Marlboro due south on 301 SUCKS til you get just south of LaPlata…..and that run feels like 1000 damn miles…but not sure if you meant the Nice bridge. It’s all redone now, 100% new and was fun watching the old one get slowly demolished as we moved here. I’d have rethunk the move had they not already started the new one.
Depends on time of day. When the urchins are filling the streets during commuting hours it makes getting through some of those small towns and lights a serious pain. As for DC…..well I just can’t avoid that one

Close enough I’ve heard the old one called many things through the years……Hardly Nice, Scary Nice, or “no f*cking way”
