I'm picking him to crash in practice, qualifying, and the race. He's done. I guess it's not that bad to be forever second best.
he tried doing that in TX and it didn’t work either... no matter a fan or not you have to hand it to him for putting the bike in the mix where nobody else seems to be able to... after this comeback I would actually love to see him on a Duc to see how good he is again... maybe he can sneak into Bautista’s gear at Misano, they’re the same size
I actually agree with you, and I am a Honda and Marc fan. But I didn't just mean Honda either. Yamaha is suffering the same issue. And all the manufacturers are suffering from this as well to varying degrees - except maybe Ducati as their 8 bike strong grid count really does offer a serious advantage. Honda and Yamaha are the worst offenders in this way but Suzuki got it wrong with engine inertia and suffered the whole year a few seasons ago. KTM had a similiar kind of issue last season. And it seems maybe Aprilia this season may be in that situation this year. You get it wrong, especially with the engine/power delivery/aero relationship - the season is almost out of reach championship wise.
I'd like to see Marc go to KTM or Aprilia. A benefit would be to see what Honda does without him available to override the bike.
And the biggest issue is getting it wrong for the tires... that’s the real common denominator that they can’t engineer themselves around fast enough, which has to be frustrating for all. GiGi is still by far the most valuable man in the paddock. I’m like Marquez way more after his showing of tenacity for his return. I don’t think his Honda had much to do with his dominance back in the day.
I've always said that the damn thing where a handicap, not an advantage. He was just too good to notice and since he was delivering, HRC felt confident in their approach. If they had suddenly put him on a bike that he didn't need to crash a couple of times in practice to know how far to push on Sundays, he would have been like Broome discovering glasses.
Gigi is looking at the exit of the corner while the rest of the other teams are target fixating on the problems right in front of them.
I mean they built a winning machine for a rider for like 6 out of 7 years. no one has done that since, and not even back to back yet, so let's hold up on they are done. If anyone has money to throw at a problem it's them. Puig though probably needs to go.
as Papa and I said... they just happen to have the rider... he would’ve dominated on anything he rode pre injury, and one caused by him having to override all the time... but... Honda as easy as they are to hate on... was born out of spite and revenge and racing is in their dna... if any company can return to their roots and tap that enigma it’s them... if they want to... look at F1
ive mentioned the conversation with him at daybreak at Indy before but it’s one of my all time favorites... I’ve been around lots of world class riders not many world class engineering minds
I agree especially now... holdup?! Did I miss a Broom epiphany? What happened... post the link... I think it’s the only one I’m not posting in today
Marc and Pedro on factory Husqvarna 2024. Solid. This race, can Marc work his magic. Rins did at COTA, so its not impossible.
Miller will always have a job and be loved by the peasants after this slam... https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1028748/1/jack-miller-they-need-stop-charging-fans-so-much
I got to stand near the Hondas on Saturday while they were being warmed up in the morning and MM93’s bike definitely does not sound the same as the other Hondas. I was wondering if it doesn’t have a different firing order or something? The bikes look weird with the rear end squatted, like the time the rear shock broke on Spies’ R1.
those puny pervert porn staches are pathetic… here is a man’s stache! this is my friend and mentor Johnny Szoldrak, lost him recently but his legend lives on
