I just learned '05's have unique RPO's for the groups. Mine is a 1SB, which is 2005 speak for 3LT.

Quick tip about the C6. If the battery dies you can’t open your doors, last year it happened to me and I had to crawl through the rear to get the doors open. This year I forgot to disconnect my battery and left it unlocked with the keys in it. Only way to open it was to get a key cut for the hatch so I can crawl through again. So annoying.

 

Ha! I sat in ours once jammin' out until the battery got too low to open the door. I was like WTF do I do now...not realizing there were releases down by the door sills?
Yeah, I climbed into the rear, knowing there was a latch back there. What a maroon...

Hell no. Of course not.

I was referring to the activity itself.

 

The EN is a just a tune, a couple inserts and midpipe.

At VIR I was about 0.3 seconds from the time in the Golf, 2:11.4 vs 2:11.7. Granted I probably had more time left in the Golf R as it was my first time there and with brakes that were getting hot, but the R had A LOT more work done, vs mainly a stock car.

Back straight at VIR, the R was at 144 mph, and the EN, I was at 139 mph.
At WGI, I never took the R, but the EN was doing 137.7 before bus stop. I just need to get different brake pads, as I don't like the RSL2 that I got for the EN.

The R was just floor and go, this new car being only FWD has a bunch of throttle lift oversteer that I need to recalibrate my brain to use to my advantage, and well have to watch exit with wheelspin

 

Everyone here knows that @Gorilla George has a thing for a specific wheel color, even if he himself doesn't.
