Does anyone know if the D200 will be shown live on MA Live+?

I received an email from MA with the broadcast schedule, and it’s showing that it will not be broadcast until 6:00pm, and on MAVTV.

I assume that my subscription would include live D200. What an I missing?

I don’t have that package, I bought the season package. Maybe it doesn’t include the D200. That seems silly though.

Ok, that’s more like it. I received a different schedule from MA that didn’t show the D200 being broadcast live, but rather delayed until 6:00 on MAVTV.

 

LOL!!! It better not be delayed until 6! I'm having a bunch of people over at my house to watch it at noon Central Time

Last year I spent 13 bucks to watch the 200 live. But why the fuck would anyone spend anything if MavTv is running the 200 tape delayed for free 2 hours after the finish? I'm pissed, I want to give them 13 bucks to watch it live!!!

Hey PDV, the 200 on MavTV is Sunday evening, about 26 hours after the finish

So if this is true in 2023 the Daytona 200 sucks and all of us fellow enthusiasts shoukd be hugely upset? And how can MA setlle for this crap?

 

It's only my guess, but, MotoA has secured "Network" coverage with MavTV airing the race (delayed) on Sunday. Additionally, they are driving sales of their own streaming service which offers robust (live) coverage of all things Daytona and all season long, at a reasonable price.

I suspect MotoA would consider the above a very healthy offering to the public of the racing they put on. IMHO, and of course YMMV.
