Seriously. I know it's fashionable to diss Facebook on here, but aside from some of what I consider stupid shit, it can be a useful tool.
In addition to the official pages posted by US Legends Cars, 24 Hours of Lemons, NEMRR, USCRA, and yes, even WERA has a page, there are also unofficial pages tied to these organizations that are more social, but still informative. And compared to things like MySpace, doing my own website, or firing up a BBS, it's much less labor intensive.
NHMS ran some numbers involving NASCAR, and they determined that they were getting more bang for their advertising buck through Facebook.
