VW Atlas, good or bad?

Discussion in 'General' started by njracer, Feb 7, 2023.

  1. Oh and they are very much in cough, silos, so none of their stuff flows together like most cars.

Traded our Atlas after 4000 miles on a Buick Enclave.
I'm still shocked how nice it it.
    Very roomy.
    Has magnetic damper suspension.
    Very nice ride.

My guess? @Phl218 ’s relatives were involved in its design and/or construction at some point.

Minivan is the answer to only two questions:

1- What vehicle so perfectly embodies the notion of emasculation and neutering that it’s become a meme?

    And

2- What vehicle will an emasculated, neutered enormous avian promote as though he still had balls?

    :D

A Mercedes Metris has enough room for a dick bike if you take out the seats. And it’s a rear wheel drive affair. A sound choice for a bitch box.

    Low Power
    Bad fuel economy
Horrible user interface: using regular cruise vs adaptive, selecting radio input modes, menu items, things like that.
Visibility. Side windows so small it was difficult to use an ATM
The rest is she bought a trim level that was too low. Not the Atlas fault.
No memory seats, no heated steering wheel, no 360 camera, no heated mirrors, no power liftgate.

I turn 67 in June...I no longer worry about longevity or lifetime warranties.

Reviews I read on the Atlas are mostly negative.
Honda redesigned the Pilot this year, I will definitely check it out when I'm ready to change. But with current availability and prices, I'm going to stick with my current vehicle for a while longer.
