The Aprilia RS250SP that I saw in person sure looked like a race bike? I mean its not an NSF, but it certainly isn't an Ninja 400 either.
Did anyone talk to him to see what was his 2023 plans ? Like @Rance Taylor said, could of been just riding for the sake of riding and getting some laps in before D200.
My understanding from folks who are close to him is that the season is pretty much up in the air for him. He has a bike but not necessarily a team to back him up. So if you or anyone you know has the resources / time to help I suggest reach out to him directly. If I could I would help him but I'm already committed to another effort with MA this season.
I'd love to help but am racing the D200 myself and having a damn hard time finding volonteers to help me. Have a few peeps but would need a bit more for signals (pitt board) I'm sure he'll find the support and help he needs. Kid is effen talented !
Good luck! Hopefully you get some seat time to get the bike sorted before the race. I'll be rooting for you
Thank you... If it's not a shit show like last year (all that rain we got) and I can get comfortable with the need ride, I'm hopeful for a better ending then last year (I'm the dork that caused the red flag )
You need to go into that race KNOWING it's going to be a shit show. Expect the worst, hope for the best and go into it as to not set yourself up for disappointment. I've been a wrench in the paddock for the 200 on several occasions and it's a straight up gong show no matter who I've been down there with. LOL
