Well-deserved recognition for Kayla and her family. Great exposure for our sport. And I love that the reporter made a point at the end to applaud how family-friendly motorcycle racing is. I always tell people that although they might think our sport is only for young, aggressive men...in fact, it's the most welcoming and friendly community I've ever been a part of.
Am I the only one that wished CU had been there with the two up bike to take the reporter out on track with Kayla?
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Motoamerica can follow up with the reporter and get her a two-up at Pittsburg or NJ.
well shit...we recorded it this morning...but she is not on it. What gives? No biggie...just went and watched it online. Good stuff.
Thread title should be "Kayla Was On Yesterday." Just kidding of course, it was a nicely done piece and Kayla represented well.
i was pitted next to Kayla that day. Towards the end of the day i spoke to the reporter asking if she has ever attended a MotoAM race or any road race, she said no. Then i suggested to her to YouTube the '22 Rd Atl Jr Cup race where Kayla was penalized, just to put into perspective the race craft Kayla and her young competitors have. Also i offered up the fact that :16s were RIPPING at Jennings. The reporter said she intended to get to a race. Hope the Today exposure helps both Kayla and MotoAM it was very interesting to watch how that interview played out during the day
