https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/kawasaki-launches-all-new-16000-rpm-inline-four-ninja-zx-4rr/ Should have read ZX-4RR
I've crashed the fuck out of it's not related predecessor -- FZR400. If the other manufacturers bring back the 4cy 400cc then put me on the wait list. This would be the perfect middle weight bike.
Graves already has one and is developing parts for it. They sound very excited about the possibilities of this bike. This thing should be a fun little ripper!
I'm pleasantly shocked. For their sake I hope they only bring in a couple hundred, cause after the handful of real enthusiasts grab theirs any extras will be collecting dust (good for me when they have to slash prices).
Fitting an aftermarket subframe will push this thing right up to ZX6R costs, although it should be obvious to everyone from the get-go that this is not the bike buy if you are looking to save over a new 600. It's just my whole thing was that they could either make it dirt cheap in both cost and quality and sell thousands or make it a 1000 with a 400 in it which is too expensive to sell well but loved forever. They got most of the way to the latter, I just wish they went all the way and make it the modern equivalent of a homologation special.
Overpriced with outdated components. Wonder if it'll have a decent transmission in it? History says to not hold your breath.
